My sincere condolences to the entire McDermott clan on the loss of your father and grandfather. Cully has told me how supportive and loving all of you were to Jack after Marlene's death. As you gather on this Father's Day weekend to honor his memory, may it give you some comfort to know that his suffering has ended, and his legacy endures in all of you.
Knowing how Jack loved to be busy, I'm sure if God has any odd jobs that need attention, he'll know just who to call on.

Jack was a very positive influence in my life, both personally and as a coworker. He was such a hard worker and knew so much about his job. I enjoyed working with him because of his great humor and good conversation, also. My prayers are with his family.

Marlene and I were in the same nursing class at Nebr Meth Hosp....and shared many happy memories. In fact we were 2 of 6 gals who lived near the hosp. afterr graduation. I shared with you Marlene's loss and now your Dad's death. I know they are both in a glorious place with no sorrow or pain, may you find comfort in that. Practically speaking, may the Lord give each of you the comfort you need, wisdom and strength. Jack and Marlene were 2 irreplacable people as you well know. May their lives inspire each of us to live life to the fullest and for the glory of God.
Sincerely, Bev Silk Wibbels.

I had the pleasure of knowing John for the past 12-13 years. He volunteered every Tuesday morning in the Douglas County Probate Division. John was funny, smart and oh so kind, he will be missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him. My thoughts and prayers are with John's family at this difficult time.
God Bless all of you.
