Survived by his children, Joe Benak (Dana), Tari Blankman (Steve), Debbie Balderas (Julio), Mike Benak (Diane); grandchildren, Austin Blankman, Seth Blankman, McKenna Blankman, Josh Benak, Jake Benak, Kelsey Victor (John), Nolan Benak, Karli Benak, Taylor Blair, Kaitlyn Blair; great-grandson, Bryer Benak; sister, Carole Reisdorf-Miller.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE: Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 3 p.m., at the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3912, Banquet Hall, 209 West Mission Avenue, Bellevue 68005.

I remember Uncle Joe at the cabin on Missouri River(Elbow Bend)
Fishing, running throw lines, hoop nets, drink beer, clean fish, eat, more beer & maybe play some poker or 10 point pitch.
He had a nice Jon boat, extra wide & deep w/ BIG motor. He would dock it by gunning it & front end would pop up(BANG) & land on the rocks.
He was a Union Brick Layer & had BIG arms. HeWe were shooting Blue Rock in the field & he had a10ga. pump(Elephant gun)
He was smart enough to stop cause shoulder was bruised & sore...
That's -> THE BENAK WAY
Now...
He fishing in the clouds.
He will be missed
