VISITATION: Wednesday, January 19th, from 10am to 11am at the West Center Chapel, followed by SERVICE at 11am. INTERMENT: Graceland Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. My Condolences to the Gouldsmith family.
One Memory I have of Joe, is talking with him after Jeff and Shari's wedding.
Me and my friend, Mark Bryant, walked into a room full of people,
And there was Joe and some of his friends and relatives.
He welcomed us and offered an Oly, which I politely declined.
He then said, "That's right, you don't drink, you don't chew, and you don't go with the girls that do".
After the initial laughter , I said "I said especially the girls that chew".
We talked and laughed for another hour or so, and he repeated that phrase another couple of times, just in case I forgot.
It was a much more fun reception , with Joe, than I anticipated.
Joe was always approachable, and he laughed at my life stories,no matter how silly they might be.
God Bless the memory of Joseph Gouldsmith.

Joe was a wonderful neighbor and friend. I couldn't have picked a better neighbor to have over the past 17 years. I will miss all of the countless conversations we shared about husker football, we were truly a couple of armchair Quarterbacks with all the right plays they've should of called; and conversations about the neighborhood lawn service and so many other memorable conversation and laughter we shared. I will miss my friend and neighbor terriby, I love you Joe. Make our Good Lord bless you my friend
