Preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Rohrig; grandmother, Lucille "Cindy" Howard and uncle, Shawn Howard. Survived by his father, Kent Rohrig; sister, Caitlin Shelton; nephews, Jayden and Easton Shelton; grandparents, Allan and Marilyn Rohrig; aunts and uncles, Brad and Tracey Howard, Bob Rohrig, Tom Rohrig, Kathy Ricenbaw.
SERVICES Saturday, 10am at the Mount Michael Abbey Chapel. Interment, Calvary Cemetery. VISITATION begins Friday 5:30pm at the 72nd Street Chapel with a Wake Service at 7pm. Memorials to Mount Michael Abbey. JOHN A. GENTLEMAN MORTUARIES

I only knew Joe for four years back in high school. He was one of the funniest people I knew. He would say anything to make you laugh. My prayers go out to the friends and the family members of Joey. He was a great guy taken way to soon.

I worked with Joe about 3-4 years ago. I didn't know him very well personally, but I remember that he was known for having a good sense of humor and for being a nice person. I'm sorry to his friends and family. I hope it's comforting for them to know that he will be remembered for those good times. God bless!

I was lucky to get to know Jo-ro during a tour of Europe in the Summer of 2008, at such a young age he was such a bright spirit. We wanted him here, but Heaven wanted him home even more. He will deeply missed until we all meet again.

In 6th grade, Joseph, Ronald and Nick talked me into taking them down to the old market to play their instruments on the corner. They made $30 in about 30 minutes. They closed up Joe's saxophone case and said they were ready to go eat spaghetti on my dime! Joe had an infectious smile and zest for life! Memories are blessings from God.
