Kathleen Clifford Obituary

Clifford, Kathleen

August 3, 1950 - June 8, 2023

Kathleen died peacefully in Omaha at the age of 72. She is survived by her husband, Michael of Omaha; daughter, Courtney (Storm) Zhe of Hoboken, NJ; son, Colin (Cheryl) Clifford of Omaha; and three grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Nina (Plato) Whitmore.

Kathy was born in Little Falls, NY. She graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a Master's Degree in Education. She returned to education once her children were in school and went back to school to become a Media Specialist. She retired from Millard West High School in 2016. Kathy was an avid reader, and often enjoyed up to five books a week, with her kitties in her lap, and her dog at her feet.

Private Family Service only. There will be No Calling Hours. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Nebraska Humane Society, or the Alzheimer's Association.

Kathy was a good friend. Our children were the same age and were friends with Courtney and Colin. A lot of carpools, class parties for them and Bunco for us. Good memories. God bless you Kathy. You will be remembered fondly.
