Age 71
West Point, NE Died March 9, 2014 at West Point Living Center. Survivors include his wife Onie of West Point; children: Rory (Behnaz) Michaelis of Amsterdam, Netherlands, Kyle Michaelis, Kari (Nathan) Atkins, and Troy (Paola) Michaelis all of Lincoln; brothers: Robert (Carolyn) Michaelis of West Point, James (Sharon) Michaelis of Dodge, and Dennis (Linda) Michaelis of West Point; sisters: Jean Popken of Scribner, Arlene (Les) French of Woodriver, IL, and Ruth (William) Nagengast of West Point; and grandchildren Samuel Michaelis and Jonathan Atkins. Ken was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law Duane Popken; and parents-in-law Raymond and Ione Riesselman.
FUNERAL MASS 10:30am Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Reverend Gerald Gonderinger as celebrant. Burial with Military Honors at St. Michael's Cemetery. VISITATION 9am until 8pm Wednesday with a WAKE SERVICE at 7:30pm, all at Stokely Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Cuming County Fair Foundation. STOKELY FUNERAL HOME
