Omaha. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother; avid golfer and craftsman, loved by many. Preceded in death by father, Victor; sister, Julie Herbst. Survived by wife, Marilyn M. Herbst; sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Lisa, Mark, Paul and Heather, all of Omaha, Jeff and Annette, Cape Cod, MA; 7 grandchildren; mother, Gladys Herbst, Council Bluffs; sisters, Victoria Draper, Omaha, Joan Gubbels and husband, Joe, Council Bluffs, Susan Murphy, Lenexa, KS, Michelle Conway, Madison, WI, Joyce Krula and husband, Gary, Sacramento, CA; brothers, David Herbst and wife, Rita, Chicago, IL, Mike Herbst, Lenexa, KS, Robert Herbst, Omaha.
Vigil Service Mon. 7 PM West Center Chapel. Services Tues. 11 AM St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 114th and Fort. Memorials will be directed by the family. Visitation from 3 PM Mon. at West Center Chapel with family receiving friends 6-7 PM. Visitation at the Church after 10 AM. HEAFEY-HEAFEY-HOFFMANN

Kerry,
I will not forget our last conversation. It was at Jeff's 40th Birthday Party, you had to remind me of a bad bearing on my fishing boat trailer and my pig roaster falling off of your truck on I-680. Thank you for the memories. You were always so kind to Julie and I, you will be missed.
