To the Family that Kevin left behind. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Kevin was a great guy and will be missed by many. I too remember giving him rides home, while he hung onto the side of my car and we chatted along the way. He was always positive and could always get you to laugh. I haven't seen him recently and regret that now, I'll miss him.

Debbie, myself and the Byers family would like Kevin's family to know our thoughts and prayers are with you. Kevin had a heart of gold! He was a fun person and always made us laugh but yet had a gentle side to him as well. I can recall the 'days' when someone or another including ourselves, would take Kevin home from "Across L Street" with him holding on to the drivers side of the car in his wheelchair....chit chatting and cracking jokes as we took him home. He surely will be mised by all of those HE touched.

Melanie,

I'm so sorry to hear about Kevin. Please take comfort in knowing you did absolutely everything you could to help your brother. Your love and devotion is one of the things that keep Kevin going - you never gave up Melanie. It was a difficult year for Kevin, and God has taken all of his pain away. Kevin was a super person. I will always remember all the laughs he gave to everybody. He endured and overcame a lot in his lifetime and I hope it offers everyone inspiration in their own lives. I know it will in mine. Kate, I also remember seeing Kevin at the Corporate Cup Run. He changed so much, I didn't recognize him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God bless. Jackie

We have a lot of great memories of time spent with Kevin. He was the Godfather to our daughter Loni Marie Arehart and a true friend. May he rest in peace and God bless his family.

Kevin always greeted me with a big hug and a smile. I remember seeing him at the Corporate Cup run many years ago and I thought, what a great thing he was doing. I was worried about getting through it on my feet and he was pushing himself with his arms and upper body strength in a wheel chair. I've seen him off and on through the years and it was always great to sit and visit with him. This is a great loss for all of us who grew up with him and even those who have met him briefly. He will be missed. Kathie

Long time friend. Kevin grew up down the street from me. We played football together. High school football and lots of sandlot football. Kevin coached our softball team for quite a few years. We won numerous awards under his leadership. And we just plain "hung out" alot at my house, his house, and the old Western Village where a good time was always had by all. I will miss him.
