Des Moines, IA. Preceded in death by father, John P. Ryan; sister, Jacquie Franklin. Survived by wife, Joni Frederick Ryan; mother, Carol Ryan, Omaha; sisters, Colleen German (Bill), Omaha, Tammy Eastlund (Alan), Edina, MN; nieces and nephews, Mandy German (fiancé, Mark Farrage), Mike German (Jena), Lexi Johnson, Ryan Franklin; grandnephew, Charlie German; stepdaughters, Cara Weis (Miles) and Jenny Myers; step-grandchildren, Camden and Dillan Myers.
The family will receive friends Thursday, 5-7pm at the West Center Chapel. MEMORIAL SERVICE Friday, 10am, West Center Chapel. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery. HEAFEY-HEAFEY-HOFFMANN

Joni and Kevin's family - I have known Kevin for around 10 years. We met when we were both on the board of the Great Plains Contingency Planners in Omaha, Ne. We became friends and I have fond memories of great times with Kev. He was truly one of a kind and truly loved life. He will be missed by many. My heart goes out to all of you. May your memories and the love in your hearts help you through this very difficult time. My heartfelt condolences.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and we are DEEPLY saddened by your loss. We will miss the opportunity to get to know Kevin better as he and Jeff shared many interests. He was a genuinely kind and loving neighbor and we enjoyed witnessing his passion for his many motorcycles from across the street...it made me smile every time I drove by and reminded me to stop and smell the roses.
