Dear Marlys, Gail, Lynda, Eric and family, I wanted to extend my deepest sympathy to all of you. What seems like just a short time that I was a member of the Klanderud family was filled with lifelong memories. I will be forever grateful to all of you, especially Larry, who welcomed me into his home despite my crazy card playing strategies and inability to pour a good mixed drink! I loved playing games at the kitchen table, drinking Diet Pepsi and laughing when it was just the four of us. Larry and I shared a love for hunting dogs and enjoyed telling stories from dogs we had cherished. Larry was always ready to tell a joke, or set me up for one. He loved to laugh and enjoyed being with his family for every holiday, birthday, graduation, wedding, and family dinner, to name just a few examples. He was so proud of his children and got such joy from his grandchildren. I am sure he was over the moon when he became a great grandfather. What an accomplishment! I know all of you will miss him greatly, as he was your rock in this crazy world. He put family and faith at the forefront of his life where he chose to serve our country in the Navy first before getting married to the love his life and starting a family that lead to a lifetime of memories that you will have forever to cherish and remember him by. I know all of you are laughing and crying as you reminisce about all of the great times you shared with Larry. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May God comfort you and give you strength during this difficult time.
