Preceded in death by parents, Jules and Esther Hansink; and father-in-law, Edwin C. Schafer. Survived by husband, Dr. Edwin C. Schafer II; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Dr. Charles Morgan; sons and daughters-in-law, Joel and Kate Schafer, and Dr. Michael and Melissa Schafer; 10 grandchildren, Emma, Jules, Cameron, Kiera, Jack, Eddie, Charlie, Benjamin, Sam, and Jon; brother, James Hansink and wife Linda; sister, Annette McDonald.
The family will Receive friends Wednesday 6-8pm at West Center Chapel. SERVICES Thursday 11am, Rejoice Lutheran Church, 2556 S. 138 St. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, Memorials to St. Thomas Lutheran Church Building Fund; or The Stephen Center. HEAFEY-HEAFEY-HOFFMANN

We just learned of Linda's passing and are heart broken for your loss and all of us that had the pleasure of knowing her. She was such a delight and a breath of fresh air. Such a generous heart and beautiful inside and out. We are so grateful for having the pleasure to call her our friend. We always loved seeing her on our schedule and we both loved her so very much.

Linda was a friend since grade school days. I have many memories of times with her - always fun. Even when we were younger, she wanted to be a wife and mom.
