I will always remember Ms. Lois. She was the mother of my friend Penny and the grandmother
of my friend Jerry. We had a great time sharing memories and exchanging cards and notes. My hope is to imitate the zest for life Ms. Lois exemplified.
Sincerely,
Veronica Jacobs

Ms. Hassett was an amazing woman. She was the grandmother of my friend Jerry Larson. When I met Ms. Hassett I was drawn to her immediately. It was the beginning of a wonderful friendship. We both liked plants and talking about our family and friends. When Ms. Hassett moved backed to Nebraska we kept in touch by sending cards. Actually, we exchanged cards before then and just continued to do so. I not only miss Ms. Hassett, I miss sending her cards and my love.

My prayers and heartfelt thoughts go out to the family and friends of Lois Hassett.
I had the honor of meeting Ms. Hassett in Houston several years ago. Penny and Jerry Sr. were hosting a graduation party for Jerry Jr. I was immediately drawn to the aura surrounding Ms. Hassett. She graciously shared a memory book detailing her life. As she lovingly spoke about her family and friends I was spellbound. Her voice was warm and welcoming. Her touch was comforting. As we talked, we discovered our love of plants. She talked, I listened. Somehow I found out she enjoyed getting mail. When she moved, we continued our relationship by exchanging cards and notes. I was concerned that she felt like I was sending too many cards. Penny assured me that she enjoyed the cards, so the correspondence continued. I cherish the mail I received from Lois. More than that, I cherish the friendship with a wonderful lady who allowed me to be a friend.
I would like to thank the family for sharing Lois with me.
I will miss her but I will never forget our wonderful friendship.
Sincerely,
Veronica
