Mark passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Thelma Vanderloo; and brother, Robert Vanderloo; daughter, Peggy Luther; and grandson, Zach Luther.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Diane; and children: son, Mark Vanderloo (Jessica); daughter, Molly Vanderloo; son-in-law, Greg Luther; son, Tim Vanderloo (Pam); daughter, Susan Thaden(Rick); son, Christopher Vanderloo (Laura); son, Matthew Vanderloo (Hanna); grandchildren, Mark Vanderloo, Julia Vanderloo, Darius Aruna, Kai Aruna, Jake Luther, Alexa Luther, Alec Vanderloo (Molly), Natalie Vanderloo, Lauren Gardner (Sean), Grace Thaden, Katherine Thaden, Jack Vanderloo, Will Vanderloo, Willa Vanderloo, Rowan Vanderloo, Frances Vanderloo; great-grandson, Leo Gardner; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
SERVICES will be held at St. Cecilia Cathedral, March 4th. The VISITATION will be held at 1 to 3 p.m. with MEMORIAL MASS to follow at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Cecilia Cathedral, Stephen Center, Food Bank of the Heartland, and Christ the King Catholic Church. Mark was a bright light in people's lives. I was so fortunate to witness his loving relationship with Diane and benefit from his business acumen when I was starting my career. He was one of my favorite childhood friend husband's and loved how he showed up. He will be missed but leaves such a legacy.
