Mary loved the Lord with all her heart and joined Him on August 9, 2012. She was a faithful member of Antioch COGIC. She was a Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, and friend that left a legacy of love and caring to all who knew her and she will be dearly missed. Mary will be sorely missed by her mother, Rebecca Duncan; daughters, Jacqueline Cook and Pamela (Lynn) Davis; grandchildren, Denzell Cook, Capri Davis and Jacquelynn Davis; sisters, Ruthie Meeks, Dorothy Duncan and Helen Larry; brothers, J.D. Duncan, Willie Duncan and LaVon Duncan. Preceded in death by husband, John Earl Davis; father, William (Bill) Duncan; and brothers, Roosevelt Duncan, Sr. and Joe Duncan. Mary was passionate about her family, work ethics, and her love for helping others.
NO VISITATION. FUNERAL SERVICE 1pm Thursday, Greater St. Paul Church, 2123 Miami Street, Officiating will be Pastor Larry Taylor. Interment West Lawn Cemetery. ROEDER MORTUARY - Ames Chapel

Just heard of Mary passing. She will be missed by all that knew her.We worked with her many-many years and she was a joy to be around. We only with that we would have stayed in touch.

Jackie & Lynn I am praying for the family as I have known for all these years of our friendship that you ladies were very very close to your mother. I want you to know as the days and weeks ahead of you pass on by just know that I will always be there for you if you need anything. I love you both and me and my husband are praying for you. Mrs. Mary is in a better place & she dont have to suffer no more. You hold on and be strong as God will see you through!

Jackie, my life long friend, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I love you and my heart aches for you because I know what a great loss this is to you and your entire family. Miss Mary will be remembered for kind and calm spirit. I will always remember her just sitting back observing everybody and everything going on at your family functions. Jacque, Lynn, Denzel, and Capri, we are truly sorry about the loss of your Mother/Grandmother Miss Mary. She will be truly missed and I will forever miss coming out my front door and seeing her sitting on her front porch greeting me with a warm and beautiful smile. No matter what she was going through she was always smiling when I saw her; truly a very loving, caring, and beautiful woman. You are now the family and must remember what Miss Mary taught you for she will still be watching over you. The angels are always near to those who are grieving, to whisper to them that their loved ones are safe in the hands of God. You all are in our prayers and if you or the family needs anything, know that we are only a few steps away.
