I noticed Mary's passing late, so I wrote this on her birthday. Mary and I first met at the old Lifticket Lounge. We agreed to get together after her first treatments. We had great times together biking, seeing bands, dinners out, and more. She was brave, smart, funny, and engaged in life! I miss the thought of her in this world. Blessings to her loved ones.

Mary and I worked together at UNO Human Resources for over 15 years. The closeness we shared while working together allowed me to see she was a caring and loving individual. So sorry to hear that her life on this earth was short. Prayers to Patrick and the entire family.

Mary was a kind, dedicated, and knowledgeable professional who was a mainstay of UNO's Human Resources department for years. She cared about UNO and her job, and the university was a better place due to her efforts. I am very sorry to read that her life was cut way too short, and my thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Mary was a knowledgeable, sensitive, generous, instinctive Human Resources professional. Many individuals and offices at UNO benefitted from her considered and timely counsel and advice. Oftentimes, she used a wry sense of humor to punctuate her message or suggestion. UNO was a better place because of her service. I valued her as a colleague and associate.

Blessed to have been friends for the past 6 years. She live life to the fullest. I envied all of her hobbies and talents...gardening, hardscaping, painting. Her kindness will always be remembered and she is greatly missed. My heart goes out to Pat, Elizabeth and her family.

A wondeful and kind woman. Endulged in education, the arts and many, many other things. Will miss her presence greatly.
