Cannot emphasize enough on his friendship and kindness towards me over the past 30 years. We have both been through and experienced allot of life's trial's and tribulations together. His examples of taking care of his Family and Business Integrity is unmatched. Matt's work philosophy is never stop until it's done and done right! Most recently and importantly, he came through for my Son, Julian de la Guardia, a young real estate agent and investor. My Son was running into high bids and sub par work. Unable to be there for my Son at this time to meet his needs, I was frustrated. Having not spoke with Matt for a couple of years (my fault), I recommended Matt to Julian, to see what he could get done for him. Matt was there like I had last talked to him yesterday! Treated my Son like his own, gave him quality work for a fair price on short notice on multiple projects, in my place. It's unbelievable he is gone. I was only able to thank him on the phone and not in person. Smh. Love you bro. Your gonna be missed by many. GOD BLESS THE BABY, YOUR DAUGHTER AND MOTHERS

Matt was my baby brother and one of my first best friends. We fought as kids but still had so much love for one another. As an adult, we didn't ever fight and he was always so loving to me when we saw each other. I lived miles away in other states for years and finally moved home a year ago. We had a great year together and I will cherish the memories for the rest of my life. I would give anything to have just one more day to hear him make me laugh. He was truly the funniest person I ever encountered. He was the best.

Matt's parents lived across the street from my in-laws. I watched all the kids grow up and play with our kids. After we moved I didn't see them much. Then we needed some work done on our house and it was Matt to the rescue. He was very good at what he did. Going to miss having him around. Praying for you all!
