Melvin R. Peetz, 94, passed away on May 16 in Chandler, AZ. He was born in Omaha, NE on August 10, 1928, to Arthur and Elsia Ruschmann Peetz. He graduated from Elkhorn High School in 1945 and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1946. On October 8, 1952, he was united in marriage to Marlene Mumm. Melvin was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene, brother Don, twin brother Alvin (Marie), sisters Shirley Yacko ( Andy) and Lorraine Johnson. He is survived by his daughters Susan Webster, Mesa AZ, Denise Haag (Gordon), Hickman, NE, Diane Gaulke (Bob), McCook, NE, Cindy Peterson (Jeff), Jackson, GA, and sister-in-law Harriet Peetz, Omaha, NE, 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren. A memorial is planned for June 26th.
