September 13, 1951 - February 26, 2022
Michelle was born in Pasadena, CA and grew up in Long Beach. She graduated high school at 15, and then went on to graduate from UCLA at 19. She went to Athens Georgia for graduate school in psychology. From there she went into medical school in her 30's at the University of Nevada in Reno. She did a year of her residency in Las Vegas, but finished her residency in radiation oncology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Her first Job was in Cape Cod Massachusetts. She then moved to Omaha and went to work at Creighton University. After a couple of years she started to work at Jennie Edmonson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA. She retired about 10 years ago, but still did locums in Iowa and Nebraska. She loved her work and was loved by her patients and staff. She loved to travel and went on 5-6 blues cruises. She also loved bike riding!
She is survived by her husband, George; daughter, Susanne; daughter-in-law, Makalah; son-in-laws, Adam and Noah; and 7 grandkids.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, 1pm, at the Pacific Street Chapel. VISITATION: Thursday, 12pm, at the Pacific Street Chapel.

I was so sorry to hear of Michelle´s passing. She was a dear friend of my mother (Doris) and helped the family so much when our mother was dealing with cancer. Such a caring and generous person.
