McKain, Nancy Jo Smith

Nancy lived a full life and was greatly loved. She married Charles W. McKain and had three children: Charles Michael, Lisa Marie MacNair and Brian David. She has two granddaughters, Margaret and Elizabeth MacNair. Sisters, Patricia and June and a brother David. A graduate of Central High School, Omaha, bachelor degrees from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, an MBA from University of Wyoming and PhD work at the University of Wisconsin. She served as a State Auditor in Washington State, managed a 10 city cooperative and served as City Clerk in a small Washington city, she also taught Accounting and Math at a Community College.
She lived in Duluth, Minnesota, Copper Island on Lake of the Woods, Ontario, St. Cloud, Minnesota, Central Washington State and Seattle, Washington. She was proficient in her garden as well as in professional life. She helped build docks and decks on the island, maintained a small Minnesota farm and homes in various places. She is missed and will be forever in our hearts.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Mt. Hope cemetery, 10am July 17th with a luncheon to follow at the Regency Lodge.
