Natalie "Lena" Scaccia

SCACCIA-Natalie "Lena" (Sferrazzo), age 95, of Lee's Summit, MO, formerly of Port Richey, FL, Raytown, MO and Independence, MO, passed away February 10, 2009 at Wilshire at Lakewood Health Center. Natalie was born May 23, 1913 in Omaha, NE, to Antonio and Angelina Sferrazzo. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 69 years, John L. Scaccia; daughter, Frances Marie; grandson, Michael Wheat; sister, Frances Sferrazzo; brother, Frank Sferrazzo, who owned and operated Salon Francois in Omaha for many years; and brother, Fred Sferrazzo. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Sue Scaccia of Belton, MO; grandchildren, Chris and Doug Tuttle, Becky and Kevin Peck and David Steffens; great-grandchildren, Dani, Erin and Michelle Tuttle, Trevor and Spencer Peck; a sister, Frances Ann Lombardo of Morgan Hill, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
VISITATION Friday, February 13th from 9:30-11am with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11am at St. Sabina Catholic Church, Belton, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Michael Wheat Library c/o the Kehoe School in Kenner, LA.
