Dear Jerry, Tracey, Colleen and Tegan,

I am so saddened to know that Tuss/your mother has left us. I have been thinking about her quite a bit these recent weeks and how much fun we had as kids on 48th Avenue. I distinctly remember her having the latest news about the on-goings surrounding our lives and that always seemed to be impressive to me. Moreover, I thought she brought our neighborhood together as a catalyst representing knowledge and fun. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Keeping you close in my mind and heart,

Tom Wiers

Tuss was a force to be dealt with in the class of '65 at Mercy. Mysterious. Connected. Defining cool. Even in those saddle shoes and navy uniform. She made an indelible impression on me. She is gone much too soon.

So sorry for your loss. I'll keep all those great memories from Mercy High...those tiny hands on the GIANT wheel of that GIANT (family) car. She could handle it (and most anything!)

I was so shocked to read this notice today. Many years ago I was your mother's Big Sister at Mercy. I was so lucky to have had her...she was cute as a button, full of life and the best Little Sister anyone could ever imagine. So sorry to hear about your mother -- you will all be in my prayers.

Dear Leahy Family,
The world lost a lovely lady. Aunt Tuss was so good to me and my family. I'll always remember how she made wonderful dinners and had great conversations with us. She was giving and caring, and I'll miss her sweet cards and fun gifts. The four of us down here in Houston played Trivial Pursuit last night in honor of the great Aunt Tuss.
Tony is on his way up to Omaha, and the rest of us are there in spirit. We're thinking of all of you and praying for peace and comfort.
With Love,
Barb, Tony, Noah and Levi
