Randall D. Carlson

April 15, 1947 - June 6, 2025

Randall D. Carlson, age 78, passed away June 6, 2025, at his home in New Braunfels, TX.

Randall was born to Delmar and Mildred Carlson on April 15, 1947. He graduated from Tri-Center High School in 1965, Wayne State College in 1969 and San Antonio College School of Mortuary Science in 1976 and was a licensed funeral director for over 45 years. He married Nancy Forcade on February 3, 1973, and they were blessed with two boys, Brad and Britt. He retired from the City of Council Bluffs and Cutler-O'Neill Funeral Home. He was a member of the Neola Presbyterian Church and was a long-time resident of the Neola and Minden area before moving back to Texas in 2022.

In addition to his parents, Randall was preceded in death by his sister, Kay Lange in 2024.

Randall is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nancy Carlson; sons, Brad of New Braunfels, and Britt of Sunrise, FL; grandsons, RJ Duncan (Madelyne Lippert) of Sioux City, IA, and Jacob Duncan of Omaha; niece, Michelle Baatz; great-nieces, Emily Finken and Alyssa Barrier; great-nephew, Tyler Baatz.

VISITATION: Sunday, June 15, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday, June 16, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Neola Presbyterian Church. INTERMENT: Neola Township Cemetery.
