Rich Roccaforte Obituary
January 10, 1948 - December 27, 2023
Rich was born in Omaha, and passed away after a 13-month battle with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Laura Roccaforte; and siblings, Maggie Roccaforte, Bill Roccaforte (Jane), John Roccaforte (Debbie), Amy Roccaforte, Karen Kasuske (Jeff); stepbrother, George Addison (Carol); and brother and sister-in-law, Rich and Lori Jarvey. Uncle to fourteen nieces and nephews; nine great-nieces and nephews; and beloved cousin to many. Rich is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Jacqueline (Kittoe) Roccaforte;, stepmother, Mary Addison Roccaforte; and nephew, Jason Roccaforte.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Thursday, January 18th, at 11 a.m., at Countryside Community Church, with lunch to follow, 13130 Faith Plaza, Omaha, NE 68144. Acknowledge Rich through donations to the ALS Foundation, Live Like Lou, the Les Herman Foundation or The Golden Retriever Rescue in Nebraska.

Rocky will always be one of my favorite teammates I had playing softball with. He had a GREAT sense of humor he could fly around the bases and now is flying with some of his teammates he played ball with. Rest is peace my friend.
