Dear Crotty Family

It is hard to believe your Dad is gone. At times he seemed almost indestructable. I will always remember his great sense of humor and devotion to his friends and family. He certainly was a special friend to my parents.

These last months were hard on the family, I guess I'd like to think that he and Bev are now together traveling as they loved to do. Dick hopefully enjoying all the bridge games he can find.

My deep condolences

Blessings and compassion to all of your family, especially Julie (who sings with our Servite Schola) and Jim (whom I taught in 4th Grade at Christ the King way back when I was Sr. Dolorita). My heart goes out to all of you at this time of loss. May Jesus comfort you at this time. Your dad was a good man and helped many of us OSMs(Servants of Mary) over the years. Please know he is in our hearts, prayers and masses. Your sister servant, Donna Marie McGargill, osm

I will always be thankful for Dr. Crotty. Just 6 years ago he saved my life by correctly diagnosing the melanoma growing on my arm. He IMMEDIATELY recognized it, removed it and handled everything with such compassion. What a great man as well as a great physician. He was truly a blessing to me and my family.

Doc and Bev Crotty were wonderful beings. They taught their children that the important things in life begin and end in service to others. Dr. Crotty will always be remembered by my crowd as the frontiersman who cut the trail and showed us the path to Hutchinson. May he rest for all eternity in peace!

Dear Rick, Chris, Julie, Jim, Marsha and Carolyn:

It is times like this that make it most difficult to live out-of-town. I would have loved to have held your Dad's hand, thanked him for all our great bridge games, and bid him a fond farewell those last days of his life.

May the wonderful memories we all have of Dick soon help to lessen the heaviness in our hearts!

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Love and an abundance of hugs,

Col

Dr. Crotty was the best! I was a patient of his for over 30 years; I started going to him when I was only 15 years old, just a sophomore in high school. I remember the crowded office always in the Doctor's Building and the numbers of patients of all ages waiting to see him.

He was a great dermatolgist and has been missed by my famiy since his retirement from practice. My parents were patients, my children and my sister were also his patients. Most fondly, I will always remember the treatment and cure he provided when he took care of my son (now age 31), who at age 5 had sustained facial skin issues very close to his eye as a result of an auto/pedestrian accident.

May God Bless him for so many, many wonderful years of dedication to his profession, practice and his patients. He helped so many people and had such a great manner and personality as he practiced in his profession all those years.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to his family for their loss.
