Our Dad…
Navy man….Fisherman… Racing fan.
When we were young you took care to teach us all to fish, ride a bike, and to be whoever we wanted to be.
You were there when we took our first swings of the bat, the first serve of volleyball, and our first dive into a lake (even if we weren’t supposed to get wet).
You helped found a Little League, joined the Men’s Club and Booster clubs for our benefit.
You coached our teams and cheered us on, whether on the field, court or the stage.
You encouraged and disciplined whichever we needed at the time.
You taught us to drive, and most of us came through that with very little damage to the car and our ego.
You saw us marry and start lives of our own.
Our choices and paths took all of us in many directions, but you have to know, you left an impression we can never forget.
Dad,
The journey is never perfect for any of us, but we all make our way. May the rest of the journey be peaceful and tranquil. We know your soul is in God’s hands the rest of the way. We love you and God Bless You.

"Ron" I've thought of you often over the years. I gave you your nickname of "sparkplug" at OMECO. You always brought a smile to my face during work, especially those awful inventories. You're probably wiring something in heaven right now. My sympathy to your family whom you loved so dearly. Linda Johnson

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
