Rosemary Horn Obituary
July 14, 1924 - March 27, 2023
Rosemary Horn, age 98, of Council Bluffs, passed away March 27, 2023 at Papillion Manor in Papillion, NE. Rosemary was born July 14, 1924 to the late Patrick and Catherine (Behm) McEvoy. She was a longtime resident of Council Bluffs, IA. Rosemary married Harold Horn and they built their successful Beauty Salon business together.
In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; her sons, Richard Horn and Michael Horn, MD; her brothers, Francis, Michael and Bernard McEvoy; her sister, Lucille Goodell; daughter-in-law, Sandra Horn; and her infant grandson, Richard G. Horn.
Rosemary is survived by her son, Brian (Anita) Horn of Bellevue, NE; daughter-in-law, Terrilyn Quick Horn of LaVista, NE; grandchildren, Heather (Michael) Mullican of Owensboro, KY, Patrick (Tara) Horn of Valrico, FL, Dr. Adam (Stephanie) Horn, MD of Hastings, NE, Evan Horn of Grand Island, NE, Justin (Anne) Horn of Bellevue, NE, Elyse (Joey) Krum of Omaha, NE; and 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
VISITATION with the family, Friday, 6-8pm, at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Saturday, 10am, at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Interment: St. Joseph Cemetery with a lunch following at the Walnut Hill Reception Center, 1350 E. Pierce St. Memorials are suggested to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 4 Valley View Drive.

Rosemary was a lovely lady! I worked for Harold and her, right out of beauty school in 1969-1971. So sorry for your loss. Prayers to the family.
