Sarah (née Brona) Kader lived a full and loving life. She was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, to Morris Brona and Annie Kader. She moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, with her family where after high school worked several jobs, including at IBM, until she met the love of her life, Fred. Sarah and Fred shared a special love affair for over 60 years. Her devotion to him was endearing and steadfast. For many years she worked side by side with Fred helping to run his medical practice. By all accounts she was a wonderful mother and doting grandmother who would do anything for her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, friendliness, compassion, caring and self-sacrifice. Although quiet and reserved, Sarah lived her life by her principles: integrity, humility and compassion.

Sarah enjoyed the Pacific Coast with its ocean, sandy beaches, majestic scenery and warmer climates, feeling especially at home in Southern California or Hawaii. She loved palm trees, tropical plants, especially the Bird of Paradise, and most of all, ice cream.

Dearest cousins,
We are so saddened about the great loss of our beloved Auntie Sarah. We have the fondest, most loving memories of both Auntie Sarah and Uncle Fred. The love and care they both shared is something we will always cherish. We shared so many family visits and simchas & we always kept in touch, despite the distance. Jeff & I and family send our heartfelt condolences to our loving cousins. May Auntie Sarah´s memory forever be a blessing.

Dear Howard, Eileen, Darrin and family,
We are very sad to hear about aunt Sarah. Our condolences are extended to you. Aunt Sarah played a large part of our lives in Montreal. The word "special" comes to mind in remembering what Sarah was like. Very soft spoken and very kind she held a special place in our hearts. "Kind" was Sarah´s middle name. She lived it and did it! For that special quality we will always remember her. She will be missed but never forgotten. She will always be loved by us forever!
Love,
Harvey A. Kader and Pamela Novak

Visiting the Kader house in Omaha is one of Laurie and I´s fondest memories. A house so warm and welcoming that it felt like your own. The best part being late night ice cream sessions. We love you Auntie Sarah.

We would see Sarah and Fred at family mitzvah´s in Montreal. They were always the first couple on the dance floor. Their love for each other was clear to see and their friendliness was so very sweet.
Sarah always had a smile on her face and a kind work to say. She was so welcoming and seemed to have such a positive attitude.
Jo and I send our warmest regards and condolences to Howard and the entire family.
