Sharon Lemkau Obituary

LEMKAU-Sharon D., age 48, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, IA. Sharon is survived by her husband, Tim; her children, Amber and Kurt, both of Fort Dodge; her mother, Mary Ann Taylor, Omaha; her brother, John (Mary) Taylor, Chillicothe, MO; sister, Mary Pat (Mike) Whitley, Kansas City, MO; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Betty Lemkau, Beatrice, NE; sister-in-law Patty (Leroy) Dies, Castle Rock, CO; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Feb. 27, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Fort Dodge. SERVICES will also be held on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at St. Philip Neri Church in Omaha at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Omaha. The VISITATION is from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at the Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge. There will be a vigil for the deceased at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a scholarship to be established in Sharon's name, for members involved in 4H. Gunderson Funeral Home

My prayers for you and your family, I knew Sharon in HIgh School. Take care of yourself and your kids. John called and told my brother Sky Svevad of Sharon's passing. I'm so very sorry.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Its been years since I have seen you & Sharon but I know how important she was to you. I will always remember when you & her brought the car from me. My payers are with you at this time. Remember that she is in a better place.
