I am a neighbor of Sharon and Mikes. I have lived in the brick fourplex next door for almost seven years. From the first day I moved here Sharon and Mike set the tone for the neighborhood. They always keep watch on what is happening and make their presence known. I had many talks with Sharon and Putter and my dogs Mr Pickle and Smokey always kept life interesting. I must say that I am sooo sad and feel a great loss in my life and our neighborhood with Sharons passing. My uncle passed away in October from cancer and he like
Sharon seemed to have this fight and great out look on the whole thing. Sharon told me when she was diagnosed "aint that the damndest thing? but what ya gonna do?" She smiled and continued working on her lawn. I will miss her. I wish I would have know that she had passed so I could share with you her family the great times we shared and the words of wisdom she gave to me. Rest in peace and may God Bless you !! You were truly an angel on this earth.

Many of us here at OPPD were saddened by the news of Sharon's passing. My deepest condolences to all of you. Sharon was full of personality and I truly enjoyed her sense of humor. Whenever I saw her in the hallways or elevators here at OPPD, I always called her "Sunshine" and made it a point to wish her a Happy Cinco De Mayo Birthday. I will miss her.

I will always remember Sharon as a happy go lucky person with a GREAT Big Smile here at OPPD. Sharon, now you can REST in Peace. It was so hard for me to accept the passing of my mother 2 yrs ago due to cancer and the only thing that helped me out is knowing she is in a better place and NOW PAIN FREE! You put up a Good Fight now you can enjoy being PAIN FREE my friend. God Bless Your family at this time.

Sharon was always my best friend in grade school and high school and even though we did not keep in touch that much after those days she will always be my best friend. My love and friendship will never end for her. Now she can rest and have no more pain. My love and prayers to Mike, Donna, Louie and her nieces and nephews.

"Sad" isn't a large enough word to express how much we miss Sharon (1R). She fought this battle with courage and strength, and now she rests in peace with God. She was an awesome addition to our family and I thank her for taking such great care of my brother. The tears we wept the past year will never be able to cloud all the fond memories we will cherish. I hope, for 1R's sake, that heaven is filled with Golf, Tripoly Games, Hammerschlaggen, Bags/Cornhole, Bowling, Vodka, Crab Legs, and friends and family that have passed before her. We love you Sharon, XO
