Sherry and I worked together at the Health Department. She had Casey, her female dachshund and I had Sammy, a male. Since they were both intact, we decided to breed them....twice. This is her second litter from 2007. Sammy had to periodically check in to see that his family was ok. We took so many pictures of them as they grew. From this litter of 5, Sherry kept Bandit and Tilly Alice. I kept Ras and Kathy, who also worked with us, took Hans. My brother and his wife took Willard. She loved her dogs like they were her children. Sherry had a heart of gold and would do about anything for anyone she cared about. She talked about a lot about her family and loved being a mother to Steve and an aunt to Carol's kids. I cherish the memories I have knowing her and am blessed to have countless photos and videos especially of all the 4 legged children that ruled the roost. My thoughts and prayers are with her sister's Carol and Ruth Ann and their families. She loved you very much. RIP dear friend and enjoy Heaven with Steve. I will miss you.
