February 12, 1949 - November 14, 2021
It is with great sadness that the family of Sid N. Holtmeier announce his passing on Sunday, November 14, 2021.
Sid's love of golf started as a child in Mullen, NE when he played for the first time with a doctor that his mother worked with. Sid was on the North Platte high school golf team and became a golf pro in 1970. He was a pro in North Platte, McCook, Sidney, York and Omaha, NE. In those years he's made many friends and four hole in ones along the way.
Preceded in death by parents, Norval and Ester Holtmeier. Survived by Joy Holtmeier; sister, Nancy Jewell; sons, Sid Alan (Tammy), Christopher (Melissa), Michael; and five grandchildren.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.

I knew Sid as a child when they lived in Tobias, Ne. In fact I did some babysitting for Sid and Nancy back in those days. Sorry for you loss.

A finer man there's not to be found...on or off the golf course. Met Sid way back when he was pro at Platteview C. C. and Buccaneer Bay. So sorry to read of his passing; much sympathy to Joy, sister Nan, sons & the entire family.
