Served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

Preceded in death by his parents, Filbert and Sally Bartak; sister Barb; brother Randy; and son Phillip Bartak.

Survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Agnes Bartak; daughter, Pam (Phil) Odyke; grandson Logan Opdyke; brother Rick Bartak; sister-in-law, Linda (Randy-dec.) Bartak; other family and friends.

VISITATION: Tuesday, February 23, from 5-7pm at Bethany Funeral Home. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Wednesday, February 24, at 10:30am at Spirit Life Assembly (48th and Harrison). INTERMENT with Military Honors in Omaha National Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family. Livestream available at

During my time employed at RYC I was honored to have known Steve. We were partners on the "Chistmas in April" project and it a pleasure working with him on that. Such a kind and caring man.
