I adored Steve and his love of life and friends. His love of casinos was a shared hobby and we continually shared text comments. I will dearly, dearly miss him. God bless my friend.

Although we lived in the same city (Buffalo NY) for only a few years, we knew each other for a total of 35, during which we stayed in touch. Steve was my best friend, and my confidant. He was gregarious and an extrovert (to put it mildly!), and that helped me get past some of my dull introversion. So many memories of good times spent together.

My dear Steve, I will sadly miss you. We began as pals in Omaha and then worked together in Buffalo. We have many crazy adventures to Key West, North Platte, Toronto, and Beyond. What are the funniest, wittiest people I ever met. And perhaps the silliest. Peace to you, Steve and your family as well.

Steve was a kind, generous and caring person. We will miss him at the weekly bridge games. Also his many Facebook posts, especially views from his apartment and his great sense of humor.

I feel so fortunate to have been with you when you left this earth. You will always be a bright shining light to those who knew you, and the weekly bridge games certainly won't be the same without you. My deepest sympathy to your family and all the friends who loved you so much.

So sorry for your loss. He was always kind to the 'baby nuns' in high school.

Many fun, funny, clever, ribald times together, dating from 1974 in Boulder, CO through Buffalo, Reno, and back to Omaha.
