This was a great man who did so many things for other people. He was well respected and very smart. I like to call him "The Godfather" because when he walked into a room everyone wanted to be around him and ask for his advice. As children we never knew the extent of his generousity but as adults it's very clear. Over the past couple of years I have had many great conversation with him and have really gotten to know him in a different way. He was a kind, caring, loving man who just wanted to enjoy life. He did things people told him he would never be able to do. He never quit living and always kept fighting. Our hearts are filled with great sorrow and our family will never be the same. I love you very much Uncle Steve and THANK YOU for all that you did. Love you,
Little Theresa

The one thing I will always be grateful to Steve for is sending my mother, Mary, and his father, Ray, on a trip to Ireland. I know they enjoyed it very much. Thanks, Steve, for your generosity . I will miss you. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

My brother was a very generous man and made so many things happen for so many people. Fortunately for us, we were able to spend alot of quality time with him in recent years and really know and love him on a more personal level. For this we are truly grateful. Thank you Stephen for all of the wonderful memories. With love and forever in our hearts!

With Steve's passing I lost a dear Friend and Mentor. Steve was one of the “Greats” in retail and was responsible for building many careers, myself included. It is not every day that you come across someone in your life that really makes a difference in what you do and who you are, Steve was one of those, he truly cared about the people who worked for him and with him. My thoughts and prayers are with the Power's Family. You will be missed my friend RIP.

I remember how as I got older, I realized my Uncle Steve made alot more things happen "behind the scenes" than I thought when I was young. I will never forget his generousity, insight and common sense. He was smart and I observed how he operated more than I probably let him know. I admired him for his business sense and how he called things as he saw them. Thanks Uncle Steve for being good. I love you dearly and will always miss you.
Love,
Elizabeth

Uncle Steve, thanks for letting us use your hot tub for our swimming pool. Our Disney vacation was the best, not because of Mickey Mouse but because of you! Thank you for all your words of encouragement and praise. Aunt Amy, Heather and Tim, Shane and Boston-we love you all so much! Michaela, Brian, and Isabella
