Earlier today
Steve Torpy, a kind, generous, strong, loving family man. To me he was a man of few words but when he spoke to me I listened, and I learned from what he had to say. I had alot of respect for Steve. Well you kinda had to. Lol. I remember working with him n J back in the early 2000's plowing snow at the apartments off Maple street. Man that was alot of fun. Going and having breakfast at Village Inn with the Denali crew. Dude Im gonna miss ol Steve. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Sue. Kara. Justin. Sue and the Torpy family ... We were so saddened to hear about Steve's passing. We have many memories from our time in Omaha at Rugby matches, trips and other shenanigans. Steve was a salt of the earth man with a beautiful family and wonderful friends. May your memories be a blessing.

One of my greatest memories of Steve is how proud he was at the family reunion at Mahoney State Park of his red Corvette! He enjoyed showing it to everyone. Deepest Sympathy! Rose

Steve was a fierce competitor on the rugby field and the life of every party off it. The memories we shared-on and off the field-will always remind us of the laughter, friendship, and great times we were lucky enough to have shared.

"Today we remember my great friend Stephen Torpy. They were the kind of person who showed up when it mattered and made life better just by being part of it. Their loyalty, humor, and big heart touched more lives than they probably ever realized. The world lost a truly good soul, but the memories and friendships they created will live on forever. Rest in peace, my friend - you will always be remembered."
