Susan Bock Obituary

Bock, Susan Kay

March 22, 1963 - May 4, 2022

Age 59. Suzie was born in Omaha but grew up in Fargo, ND before returning to Omaha as a young adult. She worked at First National Bank and M's Pub in the Old Market. Suzie's smile was the brightest. She had a genuinely inquisitive mind and innate gifts for writing and public speaking. She found joy in singing and acting and her favorite role was as Glinda the Good Witch. She loved documentaries, making others happy, genealogy, and anything that was the color purple. Suzie was preceded in death by parents, Don and Lila Bock; brothers, Jay and Cary; cousin, Denny Chaney. Survived by first cousins, Ron Chaney, Deidra Ash, Dorene Atkinson, Doris Barr, Denise Bond, and Mike Chaney; devoted friends, Jody, Rob, and Chloe' Reynek; many friends and relatives.

Private Family Graveside Service and CELEBRATION of LIFE both to be held at a later date.

Suzie had a contagious, broad and dimpled smile! She had a joyous and welcoming personality! She was a great friend to many and we will miss her and her laughter! I'm sure the Lord has mended her vocal cords and she is happily singing His praises! We will see you again!
