Please accept our deepest and most sincere sympathy! I am the mortician who picked up Tal after his tragic airplane accident 30 years ago. God was with us both that day..........it was truly a miracle because I had passed by but thought I saw something in the ditch and was most uneasy until I turned around and went back to check to see what it was.
May God fill you with peace, hope and the sure and certain knowledge that you WILL see your husband and dad again at resurrection day!
In Christian love,
Phil and Jody Vander Ploeg

We were saddened to hear of the death of Tal - I went to school with Talton in Stanton, Iowa. We have wonderful memories of the years he was there. My father took Tal along with a Fuller boy from Wales to Iowa State University in an attempt to get him a scholarship. Tal was well respected in the community
Sincere sympathy

Anderson Family,
I am sorry for your loss. For what I knew of Tal he was an amazing man and someone I was proud to associate my name with. I have worked for the Anderson Auto Group for ten years and I am greatful for the opportunities they have given my family. A class act organization through and through. I can only imagine how proud the Andersons must be. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Sincerely,
The Collins Family

Mrs. Anderson and family:
I am Shon Spurgeon's mother-in-law and Shon worked directly for Mr. Anderson. Shon "treasured" her years with Mr. Anderson (13 I think). Mary Joy . . . . one fine day I was asked to assist in addressing invitations at the Lexus dealership for a party that was being held for Lexus owners. I had the privilege of meeting you that day. I will always remember what a wonderful person you were with such a bright and electrifying smile. May it help somehow to know that warm thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time. May the memories you treasure of your years together bring you comfort in the days and months ahead. May God bless you and keep you in His care at this sad time.

Dear Mickey and Family,
Though we are separated from you by time and space may you sense the warmth of God's and our love as we remember you and your Dad in our prayers.
Know that "Tal" so very much loved: each of you, practicing his Faith and was ever thankful that he had the ability to "touch" so many lives always doing so in a most positive, humble and caring way. He "changed so many lives" and now his life is also "changed" but not ended.
As he taught us to "be for one another" may we through our actions continue his memory and legacy by our words and actions.
May God grant him Eternal rest.

Tal was extremely intelligent and he was respected by everyone. Tal never "beat around the bush". He got to the point and he challenged you to be honest and direct. I am honored to have had the opportunity to work with him, first in the 80s in the Jeep days and more recently with Volkswagen. Tal is among the elite people and dealers in our industry. It is a great loss.

Again, our prayers are with you and your family!

On behalf of Bishop Walker Nickless and all the priests of the Diocese of Sioux City, I wish to extend heartfelt condolences to the family and to assure them of our prayers, both now and in the future. Tal was very generous in donating to us a home at the Iowa Great Lakes, which we designated "Vianney House," a place of refuge and retreat for many, many priests over the years. Each such respite was a source of blessing, and it is our prayer that Tal's goodness to us will be repaid to him now by the Lord whom he loved and served. May he hear these words: "Well done, good and faithful servant. Come and enter into the joy of your Lord." May he rest in peace and may you who loved him so be comforted in your grief.
