William "Bill" L.
Hortonville, WI. Died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at his residence. He was born on April 4, 1952 in Omaha, son of Clement and Irene (Riedmann) Van Moorleghem. William attended St. Thomas More Grade School and graduated from Ryan High School in Omaha in 1970. He lived in Omaha until moving to Wisconsin in 1980. He owned and operated Design Office Interiors, Inc. in Hortonville the past 17 years. He was a loving father of his children who survive him: Johanna, Sheboygan; Joshua, Milwaukee; John, Appleton; and Luke, Hortonville; a granddaughter Adelyn; his mother Irene Van Moorleghem, Omaha; siblings: Dennis, Wayne (Mary), and Scott (Helen) Van Moorleghem, all of Omaha; Susan (Vincent) Marullo, West Islip, New York; Sandra (James) Stein, Hartford. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Clement.
Because of William's love of the outdoors, a CELEBRATION OF HIS LIFE will be held at 11am Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at the Pavilion at High Cliff State Park in Sherwood (N7630 State Park Road, 920-989-1106). A gathering of family and friends will be held directly at the Pavilion on Wednesday from 9am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the National Parks Foundation at www.nationalparks.org
