SHERRILL >> Anna S. Usborne, age 86, of East Noyes Boulevard passed away early Tuesday morning, June 3, 2014 in the Oneida Healthcare Center.
She was born on July 14, 1927 in Frankfort, N.Y. a daughter of the late Carlo and Maria (Perrina) Sforza and was a graduate of Sherrill High School.
On Aug. 28, 1948 Anna and Robert D. Usborne were united in marriage in St. Helena's Church of Sherrill and shared a loving union of over 57 years together until Robert's death on May 4, 2007.
Prior to her retirement Anna was employed as an executive secretary with Oneida Limited Silversmith and was a Mary Kay consultant for over 45 years.
She was devout member of St. Helena's Church. Gifted with a beautiful voice, she sang in the church choir and at many weddings. She was a member of The Catholic Daughters, AARP and the American Legion Post 230 Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are her six sons and six daughters-in-law, Michael (Sherri) Usborne of Sherrill, James (Patricia) Usborne of Verona, Donald (Linda) Usborne of San Antonio, Texas, John (Mary) Usborne of Oneida, Andrew (Mary Shawn) Usborne of Wildomar, Calif. and Robert (Marilyn) Usborne of Martinsville, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; one sister, Millie Yemen of Elmira; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Usborne of Cazenovia and Lillian Usborne of Sherrill and many nieces and nephews.
Anna was predeceased by her husband, four brothers and two sisters.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 464 Sherrill Road, Sherrill, N.Y. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Helena's Church, Primo Avenue, Sherrill with burial to follow in St. Helena's Cemetery, Oneida, N.Y.
Memorial gifts may be made in Anna's name to St. Helena's Church.

Grandmother Usborne was in my mind the spiritual head of the family. As stated, she was a devout Roman Catholic and had a beautiful soprano singing voice. She was the sweetest lady I have ever known. I have many fond memories of her and will always cherish them. I wish I could have seen her one last time.

Ann was my Role Model, she was a business women, she was beautiful, she was a mother and a mother to me. I will always remember and love her. I am so happy she is now in heaven with the love of her life.

Having known Bob and Annie for what seems like forever, we are saddened at her passing. During my husband's recent illness, she has been concerned and compassionate. Anna was my Godfather Joe Sforzo's sister, and their father Carlo was cousin to my Grandmother Antonia Sforzo Argento. I can remember many happy visits to Carlo's farm for celebrations and picnics where we enjoyed getting together with Carlo, Joe, Anna and the whole Sforzo clan. I miss them all, and I offer my condolences to Anna's family.
