Elizabeth Maloof Obituary

ONEIDA >> Elizabeth A. "Betty" Maloof, 83, of Oneida, died Saturday evening, Nov. 16, 2013, in the Oneida Extended Care Facility, following an illness of several weeks.
She was born April 11, 1930, in Oneida, a daughter of Frank and Victoria Simpson Maloof. Betty had been employed with Special Metals in New Hartford before her retirement. In earlier years she was employed with Oneida Ltd. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, in Oneida. Betty was predeceased by her parents, and two sisters, Dorothy Maloof and Sister Loretta Maloof, of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondolet, in Troy.
Surviving is a cousin in the Middle East, and several close personal friends. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Interment will be made in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Oneida. There will be no hours of public visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of the Coolican-McSweeney Funeral Home, Oneida.
