Francine D. Moon

1942 - 2023

ONEIDA-Mrs. Francine D. Moon at the age of 81, of Oneida, N.Y. passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 30, 2023.She was born on August 9, 1942 in Syracuse, N.Y. She went on to have many adventures with her family and friends through the years. Among these journeys, she met her loving husband and soul mate of 42 years, David G. Moon.She is survived by her sister, Sharon Rosen of Sanford, Florida, a brother Bruce Douglas of Lee Center, sons Raymond Guernsey of Indiana, Phillip (Christina) Guernsey of Lafayette, Indiana, Michael (Tammy) Douglas of Laconia, N.Y. and a daughter, Cynthia (Dave) Douglas of Merrimack, NH . Francine loved her 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren as well. Francine was predeceased by a brother, Clarence 'Bill' Douglas of Oneida, N.Y.Francine was happiest with family, friends many nieces, nephews, neighbors and others along her journeys. Everyone was her 'family'. Francine's smile and love will be surely missed.A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 6, from the Fiore Funeral Home, 303 Main Street, Oneida, N.Y.
