Our hearts go out to the entire Lea/Allen Families.
We didn´t know Jeff personally but always heard cute stories about him when he was a child from his proud Grandma and Grandpa Lea.

I´m so sorry to hear about Jeff´s passing. We worked together at Little Caesar´s for a little while. Jeff was hard working, caring, and kind. Prayers to his family and friends.

My love and prayers to Jeff's family - you are a wonderful family and I pray for your love for one another and for Jeff to sustain you in the days ahead. I spent so much time with Jeff in high school - by default as the girlfriend's best friend :-). So many of my teenage memories include Jeff and I am so very sad to hear of his passing.

An Old Friend

I met Jeff on the first day of 3rd grade. We were both new to the school, and we immediately were drawn to each other like magnets. From that day, at age 8 years old, we were like brothers up until our mid 20's. Life pulled us into different directions, and we grew apart. I could write a book of memories I have with Jeff. This news is devastating, and my heart goes out to His Mom, His Dad and his Sister.... his Uncle Steve, his Cousin Matt, all of whom I have great memories with. When I think of him, my mind floods with hundreds of memories, stories, adventures.... and I find myself smiling, and crying at the same time. At the end of the day, when you leave this place, that is precisely what you leave behind, memories, stories, adventures... a legacy. I can sit here and tell you, that all those years I knew Jeff so well, calling him a best friend, he was the kindest, most gentle guy I knew. I remember how proud he was when he got his very first car, an old white chevy cavalier. He was the first in our group of friends to get a car. It was a big moment. I was with him, when he lost that car...another car was at fault and hit him head on. I remember the first buck he killed up at his family's camp. I was not with him, but on the way home, Him and his Dad stopped by, and he so proudly showed off that buck to my father and I. Jeff and I posed for a picture with it. I looked at that photo yesterday. I bumped into Jeff about a year ago, he hugged me and said that we should catch up sometime. We never got a chance to do that. You left way too soon Jeff. I wish you had more time, I was hopeful one day our paths would intertwine again....we started off our lives together.... but we didn't get to finish them together. Fortunately you left me with memories, stories and adventures of the best childhood and early adulthood any guy could ask for. You were a huge part of all of that. Literally by my side for so many massive milestones in life. For that I thank you. I will even root for those Cowboys the rest of the year, just for you. I like to think Jeff is up with his Papa, telling hunting stories and catching up with one another....
