John Ingraham Obituary
He was born Oct. 8, 1943, a son of Nelson and Blanche (Simons) Ingraham Sr. and graduated from VVS. On May 2, 1970 he was united in marriage to Joyce Steinmann.
John retired from Revere Copper Products, but didn't sit idle. He was a school bus driver in Clinton, was recently re-elected as Justice for Town of Marshall and belonged to the NYS and Oneida County Magistrate's Association. John was an active member of the Barton Hose Co. with Deansboro Fire Department as past Fire Commissioner, Past President and Treasurer. He had also been a member of Verona Fire Department, FASNY, Oneida Co. Vol. Firematics Association, a former EMT, farm-medic instructor and Sons of the American Legion. He was a member of the Deansboro Congregational United Church of Christ and a past Master with Alliance Lodge No. 1097 Oriskany Falls F&AM. John enjoyed bowling and found time to golf as well.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughter, Tina Kitchen of Clinton; four grandchildren, Robert, Tara, Steven and Desiree; two sisters, Norma and Anthony Debottis of Cary, N.C. and Grace Welch of Herkimer; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ron and Debi Steinmann; several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Chris Steinmann. He was predeceased by his parents, his step-father Harry Welch, his brother Nelson Jr. and son-in-law Dale Kitchen.
All are invited to call Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Deansboro Congregational United Church of Christ. His burial will be in the spring at Deansboro Cemetery. Masonic services will be held Sunday at 4 p.m.

We are Very Sorry and Saddened to learn of John's passing. Our son Eli is in the first grade and John was his bus driver. Eli enjoyed having John as his bus driver and so did we. Every morning when we put Eli on the Bus John greeted us with a cheerful "Good Morning" and a smile, last year Eli was John's first pick up. John will be deeply missed, may he rest in peace.

To John's family, we are very sorry and saddened to learn of John's passing. He was our son Eli's bus driver and was a great guy. Every morning we put Eli on the bus he greeted us with a "Good Morning" and a smile. Eli is in first grade and enjoyed John as his bus driver from his very first day of school as he was John's first pick up all last year. He will be deeply missed, May He Rest In Peace!

I am so very sorry to hear of John's passing.
He was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed. His many years of dedication and hard work at the Fire Department will be remembered by all who knew him. His laughter was contagious and he was very caring and willing to help anyone in need. God must have needed another angel.

The Town of Marshall is deeply saddened in the loss of our friend. He gave so much to the community as our judge, member of the Barton Hose Fire Dept and devoted to his church. He was kind and thoughtful to all he came in contact with. He will be deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Joyce and his family.
