Juliette C. “Judy” Plesniarski, 91, lifelong resident of Hamilton, NY passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at the Crouse Community Center in Morrisville.She was born January 19, 1930 in Hamilton, a daughter of Frank and Ruth Franklin Baker and was a graduate of Hamilton High School. On September 25, 1948, Judy married Mayfred Plesniarski in Hamilton, a loving union of over 64 years until he predeceased her on January 17, 2013. Together, they owned and operated John’s Shoe Shop in Hamilton for over 50 years until retiring in 2004. Judy always enjoyed working and greeting customers with a smile. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose family was her greatest joy. She especially loved going to sporting events in which her children and grandchildren participated. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, bowling, snowmobiling, ice skating and tobogganing with her family. She also enjoyed playing darts and shuffleboard, having played on a league at one time. She was a member of Jim and Betty’s Left Handers Club and the American Legion Post #375 Women’s Auxiliary of Hamilton.Surviving are her children, Jim and Betty Plesniarski of Hamilton; Penny and Paul Brennan of Oxford; Cindy Plesniarski Feloney of Huntington, VT; a sister-in-law, Wanda Hengst of FL; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
