Mark Coleman Obituary

Vernon-Mark R. Coleman, age 63, of Skyline Drive passed away unexpectedly on Sunday August 7, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was born on January 12, 1959 a son of Ronald F. and Marjorie (Kitchen) Coleman and was a graduate of VVS Schools. Mark spent most of his life on the family farm and continued his love of gardening and animals. His love of music and fireworks was known to all that knew him and his new pleasure was attending Utica Rome Speedway car races with his son Steven and his family. His greatest joys in life came from the times spent with his grandchildren who he adored. Mark was a generous person and his last gift was to be an organ donor. Surviving are his two children, Steven and Jessica Coleman of Westmoreland and Brittany Coleman and Tony Mould of Clinton, his beloved mother Marjorie Coleman of Sherrill, four grandchildren, Anthony and Chase Mould, Raelynn and Paxton Coleman, two brothers, Daniel and Leona Coleman of Savona, NY, Bill and Sue Coleman of Sherrill, NY one sister Darlene and Bill Deecher of Quakertown, PA, several nieces, nephews, many special friends and his beloved dog Shadow. Family and friends are invited on Saturday, August 13, 2022 to Lairdsville United Methodist Church, 6925 State Rt. 5, Clinton, NY, 13323. Calling hour 11-12 pm, Celebration of life at noon officiated by Pastor Mark Adsit followed by a luncheon. Private burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery at the family’s convenience. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Memory of Mark to his funeral fund. Arrangements are with Malecki Funeral Home of Vernon. Mark was always a friend. I enjoyed running into him, in the community, from time to time. We always shared a laugh or two.
