Marteen Maxam Obituary

Oneida Castle-Marteen M. Maxam, age 55, of W. 9th Street passed away unexpectedly early Tuesday morning December 21, 2021 at her home. She was born on October 31, 1966 in Bellingham, Washington a daughter of Reginald Shannon of Washington State and Stephanie (Jack) Crane of Oneida Castle. Marteen was a graduate of North Thurston High School. On November 19, 2005 Marteen and Donald E. Maxam Jr. were united in marriage in Vernon, New York and have shared this loving union of over sixteen years together. In her spare time Marteen enjoyed playing bingo and watching her Seattle Seahawks football games. She most enjoyed her times with her family and watching her children participate in sporting events. Surviving are her husband, Donald E. Maxam Jr. of Oneida Castle, two beloved sons, Tyler Maxam and Daniel Maxam at home, a step-daughter Stacy Reynolds of Durhamville, her father and mother, one sister, Joleen Hrdlicka of Vernon, mother-in-law, Carol Pieper of Sherrill, sister-in-law Shari (J.T.) Kelly of Deland, FL, a niece, her nephews and her canine companion Rocky. In keeping with the family’s wishes the family will gather privately to commemorate Marteen’s life.
