Mary Fellows Obituary
She was born on June 1, 1942, in Canastota, the daughter of Raymond Stage and Theresa Relyea Ptak.
Mary spent her early years in Canastota, graduating from Canastota High School in 1960. She has lived in Oneida most of her life.
She enjoyed playing Bingo, and loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Mary first married Howard L. Bacon Sr. She later married Harrison R. "Buck" Fellows.
Surviving besides her husband, Buck, are: two sons and daughters-in-law, Howard, Jr., and Shirley Bacon, and Robert and Melissa Fellows, all of Oneida; a brother, Gordon E. Stage of Hampton, Va.; four grandchildren, Billy Collins, Gage Fellows, Jacob Fellows, and Seth Fellows; a special pet, her dog "Old Man"; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins, including a special niece, Bertha Eilers of Oneida.
Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., Canastota. The Rev. Donna Chapman of the Whitelaw Presbyterian Church will officiate. Spring burial will be in Lenox Rural Cemetery, Canastota. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, prior to the service, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home, 201 James St., Canastota. In her memory, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 6390 Fly Road, 2nd Floor, E. Syracuse, NY 13057, with envelopes available at the funeral home.

Mary, you and your twin were the best friends a person could have.I remember the times we would walk the streets of our town and have such a good time.go to the movies, or just gather at one of our homes and have the best time learning the dances our parents did. When I think of all the things we did but never got in trouble what great memories they hold
