Nasiem Eid Marji

Nasiem Eid Marji, 55, New Boston Street, died late Sunday evening, Sept. 25, 2011, in the Oneida Healthcare Center, shortly after his admission as a medical patient.
Born in Essarieh, Jordan, on June 22, 1956, he was the son of Eid and Nayfieh Marji. A resident of Canastota for the past year, Nasiem was educated and graduated from Yonkers High School. He married Linda Ghrayyeb in Jordan in 1982.
Mr. Marji was self-employed as a farmer in Jordan and was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving besides his wife, Linda, are one daughter, Mary Marji of Syracuse; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Manny and Sara Marji and Basher and Shereene Marji, all of Syracuse and Monjed Marji of Canastota; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Asma Ghanma of Jordan, Etaf and Yaser Marji and Afaf and Samia Marji, all of Oneida; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Sami and Shaha Marji of Canastota, Samir and Afaf Marji of Chittenango and Bassam and Mufedh Marji of Rome; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m., Friday from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 300 S. Peterboro St., Canastota and 10 a.m. from St. Agatha's Church, where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Saleh, his cousin. Interment will be made in St. Agatha's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday.
