So many memories of Rev. Killian - from a pioneer in community activism to the shepherd of his flock in the AME Church. Athens has truly lost a soldier of the highest rank. Well done Rev. Archibald Roosevelt Killian. R.I.P. My condolences to the Killian Family as you have to carry on without your esteemed family member. May God continue to keep you close.

We offer our condolences and prayers for comfort to and for the Killian family. When God completes HIs work through His local servants, He calls them Home to rest from labors that they may receive rewards. Rev. Killian's life of service on these terrestrial shores is completed. We thank God for all He accomplished through His servant. Family, please know that God's Presence and Power are inescapable and available for you every moment. Lean in to Him for all your desired strength, power and comfort.
God Bless you,
Dr. & Mrs Gregory S. Broughton and Family

So long, my friend. You had a heart big enough to accept me though we differed on many issues. I thank you for giving me a role on your radio program. You loved your people, your community. Now your work is done. God is willing and you won't have to worry about the creek ever rising again. Peace in the arms of the Almighty Divine Love is your forever, my friend.

Rest in Heaven Rev Killian I always told my mother I wanted to come sit on the porch with you one day just to listen to your stories from back in the day, I always enjoyed listening to you on 1470 because you said what you meant and meant what you said and their was nothing anyone could do about it, I didn't get a chance to personally meet you although I wish I had but your memories and strong opinionated stories will forever live on.
