I still think of Adam so often. A lot of helicopters go over my house being in route to TMC & also Banner & the police helicopters more often than them, but I always raise my head & say, Hi Adam.
What a special person he was & he sure left a good memory within me.

Well my first birthday without you has come and gone just like your birthday. Both days were depressing. God looked out for me though and sent friends like Teresa and Diane to try and cheer me up. I even had the dentist office and the doctor office sing me happy birthday. Thanks for putting in the good word with God.

I knew you were with me in spirit when Teresa ordered Mongolian Beef at the Chinese restaurant. Keep working in Alex's life and keep him safe. I still miss you and cry everyday.

I would like to pay my respects to the family and friends of Adam Stephenson. I am a supplier to Krebs, and an '85 West Point graduate. I was standing at the front counter and read the notice, and my heart just fell. I did not know Adam at school, but I feel a sense of loss, a little like one in a large extended family might. Godspeed. Be thou at peace...

Adam,
To a man who always portrayed himself as an "Aw Shucks" kinda guy when in truth you had such a
big heart and bigger than life personality. You were generous, intelligent, caring and some times crazy yet humble about it. In fact it was that crazy humor of yours that always made me smile and feel better even on those miserable days we all have from time to time. I feel very honored to have known you not only as a co-worker but more importantly a dear friend. You're missed each and every day. My thoughts go out to Cookie and your family in this very difficult time. I will try to be as strong, funny and kind as you always were. You are truely missed my dear friend.

We only knew Adam through our son-in-law Justin, but when he offered to play Amazing Grace on the bag pipes at our father's funeral, we knew instantly that he was a wonderful, kind hearted person. He definitely had a special place in our hearts! May his memories be with his family and friends forever.

Adam was a big man with a massive handshake and a kind heart. We sat in the same pew at Desert Skies United Methodist Church. I always wanted to get to know him better, other than occasional chit-chat on Sunday mornings. The size of the wings to fit this angel would be something to see! My wife Marge and I extend our heartfelt sympathy to Adam's family and friends.

Adam is gone, but he left us with so many thoughts, teachings, memories, and all those little things which meant so much. His sense of humor and e-mail jokes were enjoyed by many. He could talk about any subject which made him a friend to all. Truly an extraordinary and unique person. I will miss his homemade bread, the Prickly Pear Jelly, and the Raspberry Jelly (with promises of NO seeds). My sincere sympanthy goes out to Cookie, his parents, his sisters and relatives. May God be with you in this sorrowful time. Photo was taken 11-6-07.

My heartfelt sorrow to everyone who is experiencing this great loss.

Adam always seemed bigger than life to me. He was a true leader...humorous, generous, motivated, philisophical, intelligent, passionate about life...I could go on and on. And yet, like all truly great men, Adam was aware of, and honest about, his weaknesses.

What a privilege to have called him a friend for the past three years.

Go with God, my fellow mercenary.

My sincere condolences go out to Adam's family during this most difficult time. Adam,
My best friend, Teacher & Brother in Gods Children. The many miles we rode and the jokes we told. You are one of a kind, cause he broke the mold. You will be so very missed but never forgotten.

My Prayer;
Listen to your voice within
and let God be your guiding light.
Reach for the Heavenly stars
be shining and be bright.
Be kind to the many people
you meet along your way
we all learn from one another
to make a brighter new day.
Share your joys and your pain
you will never be alone
someone, somewhere is feeling just the same.
And when your time on Earth is done
and you move on out of sight
you will reap a great reward
to have lived a life so right.
Amen.

My heart goes out to Cookie & Adam's family.
He loved you very much, it was obvious. You were one of those couples that everyone envied.
I worked at Slimfast Foods with him & Cookie. He was a great influence to everyone who knew him, just a really good guy.
He is now at peace & I have no doubt that he is watching over you.
Don't dwell on the time you will miss with him, but remember the precious time that you had with him.
Keep your faith.

Someone like Adam never leaves a person. He is forever emblazed (to cause to glow; light up) in our hearts and minds. His laughter was so infectious, I still hear it. I will celebrate the time we had with him; it was just too short.

Adam - your hair smells nice.

Dear Shirley and Brandon, I am so sorry for your loss and for us all who have lost a truely unique and special "individual". There never was and never will be again anyone like Adam. He was always full of fun and made me smile when he smiled, that smile made you willing to forgive most anything. I will always remember him getting on the school bus in the mornings looking half asleep with messy hair, but still having a grin on his face. I will also remember the many times he snuck out of his bedroom after curfew and walked the mile to my house to continue our date. He was always adventurous and willing to take risks, which was what made him the awesome man that he turned out to be. He surprised me by stopping in my store to see me, a few years back and we had a nice visit. As he left that day, my daughter snapped a polaroid of his back as he was going out the door. I didn't know at the time how "meaningful" that picture would be. I was glad to see him that day and will be glad to see him again one day in heaven. God Bless you all, may God grant you peace during this time of grief. You are in my thoughts and my prayers.

Adam was a true Southern gentleman. As his daddy said to me, "He was raised right". He was an incredible friend and co-worker who brightened every day with his humor and that infectious smile.

"Curly" was a West Point classmate & a terrific guy -- a tough prankster with a heart of gold buried way down deep. He was fearless -- didn't mind tying up authority figures in knots (literally, as you can see by this photo of him & an upperclassman I recently received from Adam's buddy Keith Matthews). He'll be missed greatly.
